Write for webpconverttojpg
We publish practical guides about image formats, conversion and the everyday problems they cause. If you work with images daily — photography, print, e-commerce listings, web performance, accessibility — and you have written something we have not covered, we would like to read it.
What we publish
- Format explainers that go past the obvious: colour profiles, bit depth, chroma subsampling, metadata.
- Workflow pieces grounded in real work — a studio's export pipeline, a marketplace seller's listing prep.
- Platform-specific answers: exactly what a given site accepts, and what it does to your file afterwards.
- Print and prepress guidance, where the gap between screen and paper trips people up.
- Accessibility and performance pieces where images are the bottleneck.
What we do not publish
- Anything written to place a link. We remove commercial links from guest posts as a rule, not a negotiation.
- Rewrites of pages we already have. Check the blog index first.
- AI-generated filler, listicles with no first-hand experience, or posts with invented statistics.
- Press releases, product launches or thinly disguised advertising.
What a good pitch looks like
- A working title and one paragraph on the argument — not a topic, an argument.
- The heading structure you intend to use.
- One link to something you have written before, anywhere.
- A sentence on why you specifically can write it. First-hand experience is the whole point.
Send it to hello@webpconverttojpg.com with "Pitch" in the subject line. Please pitch before writing — it saves you the work if we have something similar planned.
Terms, stated plainly
- We do not pay for guest posts, and we do not charge for them either.
- You get a byline and one link to your own site or portfolio in it. That is the only link.
- We edit for clarity, house style and accuracy, and we will show you the edit before it goes live.
- Posts must be original and unpublished elsewhere. We check.
- Anything factual needs a source we can verify. We do not publish unverifiable numbers.
We are a small operation and we read everything, but we cannot promise a reply to every pitch. If you have not heard back in a couple of weeks, take it as a no and place the piece elsewhere.
